MY LIFE UPDATE!!

Oook! It been a while since I last posted huh? --: Nywayz, i'm backs and hopefully will be able to be back for some time since i can sneak into the college library and go online. MUAHAHAHA!

Maybe I shud do a recap... Rites! In the time i've been gone i've gone to tuition, sat for my midterm, made friends, sat for my SPM and gotten a boyfriend. He's the sweetest thing and at first was sooooooo shy! Haha. Met him at tuition and started of as friends. I can still remember the first time he 'made contact' with me. It was supposedly one of our last days at tuition and the guys (cause there were the guys and the girls) intended to treat the girls to dinner. Unfortunately... I had to get a stupid headache that hurt so bad that I actually had to go home before dinner. Sad ain't it. On the way home he msged to ask why i went home early and well it developed from there. Admittedly in the beginning I thought my friends were pulling my leg with the stories that he liked me and i doubted the relationship would ever come to be (me being very picky and all)... and then he told me and... Walah, here we are. Nywayz... I'm happy... wonder if he is too.  Mew...

Apart from that, i'm no longer at KK nymore. I'm all the way here in KL doing a course in Mass Comm at Taylor's College PJ. It's fun and I love Introduction to Communication and Human Behaviour. The lecturer is soo cool. I'm still in the proccess of making friends and all. After all it's only my 2nd day, excluding the orientation a week ago. But... yeah, i can say its fun. I'm plotting to join the student council, the performing arts club, the dance club and maybe the fencing club if my friend Aina gets it approved. OOOOO.... not forgetting I found out that on campus we have a little sort of lounge full of snooker and pool tables. That and fusball! I learned how to play it yesterday and in pool i got 2 red balls in! Hahaha!  I'm so great. Hehe.

Admittedly, i'm quite homesick and i miss my family, my house, my car, my friends, and my baby! Grr!!! We're so far apart! And bcause my baby is all the way back in Sabah I don't have anyone to take to the Welcome Dinner next friday.  NGAP!

Ooops. Look at the time. Sorry people but I have to go if not i'll probably be rapped on my way by foot to my apartment. It's getting dark. So for now, i'm signing off. Ciao!

OOoo... da picture is of me and my baby. His name is Mike by the way. >.<

UPDATE!

*sigh* Ok ppl. I'm back!  Only because my dear friends have been nagging on me to update my xanga. Complaining that I've only posted once.  Well FYI for them! I don't have any bloody internet to be able to blog everyday!!!

Nywayz, i'm in my mum's office (she doesn't like to be alone- poor dear) watching her pack her stuff cause she'll be moving to another office in Damai (  Near Coffee Bean - YAY!!) My bro Karl is here too, having fun shredding all the 'TOP SECRET' documents. I'll be here for about 3-4 hours... yup mum has piled up quite a lot of stuff in the past years.

But I doubt you just wanna hear bout today. So okay... *taps chin* interesting things that have happened so far... ... ...

Oh yeah! Ange's birthday (which was four days ago... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN!)  sleepover party (which we had on the... 23rd last week)

Well... it started with us going to an SRM meeting in the morn, where we the first few of the partiers were assembling (yours truly, the birthday gurl, Shilla, and Tan). After the work was done, we left for home (angie's home that is) at 12pm. There, we unloaded our baggage and because we were ravenous walked to the colouful building. The walk was all right I guess... even with the fact that we had to cross a storm drain. The four of us got there in one piece, ate and proceeded to wait for our 2nd last partier, the last being Ain who would come only afterwards, Kiki. But after waiting and waiting and waiting and... you get the idea... we decided to walk back to wait for her at the hse. Her appointed arrival - 3.00pm.

At 5.00pm she was still not there so we went out, across the drain and into the rainbow building and proceeded very messily to buy stuff. If you had seen us! Lordy, what a bunch of unorganized ppl . We were blur about the brand of sauce, the amount of pasta, the amount of chocolate, what kind of meat, etc... The only thing we knew for sure was that we wanted alcohol!  But there wasn't much that we could afford. They sold it all in bulk. And where the hell were we gonna put a whole crate of beer? We weren't even sure if we could get away with it considering ...  Tan and Shilla were there. We might have gotten charged as minors. Oh yeah! The wonderful Kiki arrived in the middle of shopping and admitted to spying on us. But wow! She looked nice in those tight black tights. Hehe... rite Ki? Just before 6, we made it to the counter and paid over RM 200 for it (i know, we're not smart shoppers) and then we left. Over the drain and home again!

At the house the two minors immediately set off to their baking and the three 'adults' proceeded to cook dinner. I chopped the onions and garlic and peeled the potatoes. Angeline did the chicken and Kiki... well Kiki sat down, started a job, left it, paced the house, yelled orders, sat down, looked at the food, stood up again and went around looking at others and saying, "Shut up lah you!" Haha, Mafia Kong bah kan? Moving on... we spent two and a half hours getting everything ready before we could chow down at around 8.30 pm. If you wanna see the food we ate. I think it's on angie's site. In the end, we found that there was too much food and we left the leftovers for breakfast.

Ain came at nine with her famous red and orange sleeping bag. And we had desert. Chocolate cake (made by TPP and YumYum) with ice-cream on top. It was d-licious. Who thought a couple of kids could bake so well?  The rest of the night was spent watching movies (We had a fine movie marathon), going online (three at a time), and playing PS2. Tan and Ain got hooked onto the game of Dynasty Warriors 5 while Shilla was glued to the computer. The three adults or just plain sane people (namely me, Ange, and Kiki) got some rest. Angeline KOed first at 1am followed by Kiki at 2am then me at 4am. However, I didn't sleep before I could get a pic of Angie snoozing. Hehe..

Woke up at 6. Saw Shilly drooling on the computer fast asleep and watched Tan and Ain still at the game of Dynasty Warriors (they really got addicted) before I went back to sleep. Woke up at 8 and saw that Ain who did not sleep AT ALL and Angie were on the computers. Kiki was still fast asleep on the couch. Hehe... got many interesting pics of her sleeping (post it up later). Went to wash up at the bathroom in Angie's room and saw the two minors fast asleep (took pic of them too. Tan was so kawaii!!!).

The three ppl who were alive went online till about nine when we went in search for food (had cake and leftovers) before at 9.30am, we proceeded with a wake up call. Tan and Shilla were easy to wake. Mafia Kong -  Whole different story. We shook her like hell, poured water in her face and shouted in her ear and still to no avail. She remained dead and just when we were thinking of giving her mouth to mouth (kidding) she woke up all by herself. With a greeting of 'what are you doing?!'.

The rest of the day was spent watching a movie at Growball (Beneath Still Waters). The movie was lame. The effects were... yuck. The only plus i give it is for gory-ness. The amount of blood and etc. The ending sucked. Imagine this. "I HATE YOU," and the world comes to an end. Personally, I thought What?! Oooo! FYI, for the first time in a horror movie, Ain slept!

After the movie we wandered around CP (where we found a shop named Amoz and bought six identical shirts in different colours for RM99) then walked over to Wisma before we walked to Pizza Hut for dinner. But before we went to Pizza Hut we dropped over at Kiki's shop, which was closed when we got there. Mafia went banging on the door and shouting for her mother and Ain mewwed loudly IN PUBLIC.  I don't know them! And as chance would have it two cute white guys had to pass by. *dies of embarrassment* In the end, the reason her mum hadn't opened the door for us was... SHE HADN'T EVEN ARRIVED YET!

With the door finally open, we went in and angie and i tried to steal a bit of Ba Kut Teh but we were caught and had to put it back. Do you know that the shop toilet is a perfect setting for Ju On? Yup it is. But I won't tell you why. You should go by yourself. We went in two by two to change into our new digs.  We looked so nice.

All right. Back to Pizza Hut. There was no electricity! We spent two hours there sweating it out waiting for the lights to come on. Ppl could get wild in that heat.  I know Shilla did. *nods* The poor girl went dance crazy. She should have behaved. Like yours truly, I was sitting quietly all the way. (  Believe not the LIES that the other people have told) Oh, nearly forgot... Amelia came to join us after the first hour too. And Mafia Kong left us around there to go back to her shop.

Finally we couldn't stand it and left. First stop, Kiki's shop. To pick the Mafia up of course. Over there we met Bapa Ayam. Our new bodyguard and caretaker. He is known as Mafia King. With his sister they make Mafia King Kong.  Cute rite? They act exactly alike. Though Bapa Ayam is more calm. And doesn't have the slogan, 'SHUT UP LAH YOU!'.

After that we went up to KFC and had a fine feast. We sat at the balcony and enjoyed the 'beautiful' view and 'fresh' night air. I put on, for their viewing pleasure, the act of being a retard and NO ONE appreciated it . A piece of fine art. Gone down the drain humph!. Oh well. After that, we parted. Mafia King Kong to their shop and the rest of us back to Angie's place where our respective parents would pick us up.

... ... ... ... .. ... ... .. .

Oh wait! There is some more. The incident with the locked bathroom. But how bout we leave this tale for next time.

P.S. If you want a lock picker, Amelia's your gal! Haha.

This is Faith for owenaR news, signing off.

Muahahaha!!!!

Hey ya'll. Wow... I haven't been on for sooooooooooooooo long.  And the reason? ... ... Dad cut off phoneline to the house and i'm not a CC person. So now i'm tumpang-ing my aunt's computer while she chats with mum. Muahahaha...

Nywayz. I DIDN'T GET CHOSEN FOR NATIONAL SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I don't need to slog around in dirt and grime for three months! I don't need to serve my community ( Not that I don't want to... I do... just not in the immediate future... or... anytime. *cough* ahem...) I don't need to spend three months in a hell-hole! I don't need to go through intensive physical training that will make me lose all my excess weight! I don't need to make more friends... I don't need to experience the joy of handling a gun and shooting someone... I... I...  I DIDN'T GET CHOSEN!! *cries* T_T. Oh sad twisted fate o mine, now my pet goes in my stead and she gets to have all the fun... *pout* Not that she needs to lose weight, make friends and feels the need to learn to handle a firearm so she can shoot 'bad' people whom she doesn't like and wants to 'protect' herself against... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... *takes a gun and cocks it* I wanna learn how to shoot someone! *sniff* Oh well. I hope she's gonna be safe at least. Along with all my other friends who I've found out will be goin. Rite Isabel?

Orites. Yesterday, we had the last kokum activity for the year. It was fun. Hehehe... especially during the torture of my fellow girl guides. Muahaha. We made them run around in the Pandu Puteri version of 'The Amazing Race'. Among other things we made them race around school tied up in groups to;

  • Clean the toilets (with ONLY two paper cups and two toothbrushes)
  • Made them dunk their heads in a mixture of flour+wheat flour+jelly mix+pipe water+chocolate biscuits+digestives+leaves+tissue (I know... what a waste of good food. Blame Ain!!) to fetch with their mouths, a packet of expired biscuits. Yuck!
  • Blindfolded them and fed them earthworms(which was actually just maggie), bull's eyeballs(which was actually just freezing cold fishballs) and... drumroll please ... ... ... BUTOD a.k.a Sago Worms. These were real. Very real. And a total of 5 lucky people were able to eat it. 6 actually including the brave girl from my group  (I'm so proud of them) who agreed to take the punishment for the losing team (who dared not eat the big, fat, sluggy looking sago worm).

All in all it was fun for the organizers and hopefully for those who took part. It's the last thing us form 5 girl guides 06' do for this year.

Aside from that... what else have I been doing this week? Hmmm... nothing that interesting I guess. Monday and Tuesday nothing interesting happened. Wednesday, was decreed Retard Day ( Rite Shill? Rite Kit?And readers plz take note: neko and kit did not even have to 'act' as retards. Hehe) I finally got my L license on Wednesday too. Thurs... had a horrid tummy ache during a very boring eko class where Ain tried to keep me and Shilla 'awake' and 'alert'. On Friday I actually finished my work in art class (first time in my life). Saturday was fun and explained all above. Today... today i'm here. And hopefully will be here next week too (  force mum at gunpoint to bring me here). So T.T.F.N. ppl!

STORY

Happy Birthday , Happy Deathday

A figure stood on the balcony watching the taillights of the elegant white Mercedes fade into the distance.

“Eight years have come and gone, and they still don’t seem to remember… why? It was as if all their memories of this day past had been wiped from existence.”

The slip of a girl, hugged herself trying desperately to suppress… to lock away those emotions that only seemed to grow stronger despite her efforts.

She had made her choice… “Did it have to end this way?”

The silver blade reflected the light of the moon and stars above. She watched them dance… mesmerized by their beauty which was enhanced by the way they stood, a family united on the darkest of nights.  The light then faded away, revealing the shadow of Death. Beckoning… calling… demanding that she gave him the one thing that he found worth to offer.

She inwardly cringed and fear made her step back. It made her draw around her frail figure the vulnerable hand that she a moment ago held outstretched. Instilling in her the need to protect herself from harm.

“Did she truly want to leave?”

Time passed by and she stood unmoving, unthinking… lost even as the voice of reason rung noisily in her torn mind. Then, the clock struck twelve and she was brought back… to that memory of what seemed a long time ago…

            HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The voices… the shadowy memory of those voices… voices that no longer sounded in present reality… voices that never again carried that gentle tone… the genuine happiness… the love.

… … … …

            Not towards her, at least.

“Did they love the child and then scorn the woman she had become? Could love, an emotion famed for its ability to come through even in the darkest of hearts, have just evaporated? Or had she done something to banish the love that they had shown, once upon a time?”

The affirmative would have immediately broken both her spirit and heart. However to be met with no answer… it drained on her body, mind, heart and soul. Leaving her but a vacant body of pain and suffering.

… … … …

She lifted her head defiantly and her normally placid eyes burned with a silent fire. She unwrapped her arms from its protective hold around her and stood as if she were to face the world. What she really did was face and defy  ‘life’.

The cold white marble was warmed by the vital dark red liquid… the still body devoid of life-giving breath. That pale, bloodless hand curled in a ball, slowly opened and freed itself from what she had been holding on to for so long.

Hope and Faithwere gone.

Doused by the winds of loneliness and denial, exiled by the claim of the Lord of Death, and defeated by the absence of the Lord of Love.

To many, what she did was ‘stupid’. Just as all the other acts of taking one’s life are. But, many fail to realize that though fate works in many ways … in many ways do humans work too. Our actions, whether it be good or bad, small or big, intentional or unintentional… it all affects the lives of many others. Especially those we are closest to.

In the story above, the same man and woman that had brought her into the world… … … had made themselves a reason for her to leave it.

Is life not sad? Are not the ironies of life sadder?

That depends on how you look at it, and also, what you choose to do about it. Life is a God given gift, bestowed upon us all. Treasure it.

“To the birthday girl… Happy birthday, Happy Deathday.”

… … …

“My Congratulations… My Condolences.”

              Yours truly,
